This role is responsible for promoting and developing profitable hire revenues by visiting sites and regional offices of national account customers, building meaningful local relationships. By identifying and maximising revenue streams from key projects within the region, whilst ensuring clients receive a seamless and professional service promoting the utilisation of the best technical solutions to their pumping requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, earning trust in the company and its products.
- Collaborate across the sales team to develop profitable business opportunities.
- Monitor client spend and performance alongside branch and hire managers.
- Engage early with clients to understand projects and propose effective solutions.
- Deliver professional presentations and provide accurate, timely quotations.
- Work closely with customer teams to achieve the best outcomes.
- Identify new and sustainable business opportunities.
- Ensure customer KPIs are met and satisfaction remains high.
- Maintain clear communication with the Technical Solutions team.
- Attend client reviews to strengthen relationships and resolve issues.
- Produce account management reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven sales experience in a growth-focused, rental or similar environment, including prospecting and key account management.
- Strong track record of delivering results and driving profitable growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (online and in person).
- Highly organised with effective time management.
- Professional, proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-focused.
- Willing to learn and develop product knowledge.
- Competent in MS Office and sales/IT systems.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
