We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial filter press equipment across customer sites and within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair filter press systems and associated mechanical components
- Diagnose faults, perform inspections, and carry out preventative maintenance
- Strip, inspect, and rebuild mechanical assemblies including hydraulics and valves
- Ensure all work is completed safely and provide clear service reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and hydraulics
- Ability to read engineering drawings and fault-find effectively
- Willingness to travel and work on customer sites
