Main Responsibilities and Actions
  • Seeks opportunities, secures commitment and loyalty from customers, and wins identified business revenues
  • Establishes and maintains productive, professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Regularly communicates with customers, manages need for customer meetings and liaises with external sales teams
  • Presents the range of  products, solutions and services that fit the key growth drivers of the defined market
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs
  • Ensures sufficient UK inventory profile is aligned with customers’ needs and market demands
  • Provides Customers with pre-sales, post-sales, and technical/application support
  • Prepares solution and application based proposals, tenders, and offers using the relevant selection & specification tools and platforms
  • Manages the project pipeline
  • Supports external sales personnel application and selection support and attends customer meetings, with colleagues and solely, as required
  • Is the Key User for the selection Tool ‘CPQ’ with responsibility to deliver training to colleagues and to customers, as required
  • Provides and presents products, solutions and application education and advice
  • Gathers product and market information and prepares analysis
  • Works with the orders & logistics support team
  • Creates and maintains Customer records in CRM systems
  • Identifies new business potential and opportunities
  • Attends associated and relevant trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Achieves the Quality Standards and KPI targets to ensure continual development
  • Contributes towards the continual improvement of LEAN and 5S
  • Works with other sales and technical colleagues to meet customer needs
 
Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in a technical/sales support related customer service environment
  • Technical awareness of Thermodynamic applications
  • Commercial awareness of HVAC/REFR market
  • Application of Air Handling / Air Movement systems and associated heating, cooling, humidification, and heat recovery solutions
  • Specification & Direct Sales experience in a B2B sales environment
  • Account management & business development
  • Technical Support and Customer Service Skills
  • Execution of Strategic, Operational, and Corrective Plans
  • Communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
  • Team working
